Building on the energy of last month, where collective connection, inspiration, and shared creation truly transformed new spaces to us, we are back at AAJA Basement this October! This edition centers once again on collective power. The natural magic that happens when people link up, adapt, and build something larger in real time. Reflecting this shared energy, our lineup for this edition is drawn directly from the heart of our community. Each artist brings their own distinct thread to the floor, weaving together to support the space, carry the momentum, and shape an environment driven by continuous exploration in art and sound. Pre-16:00 Workshop: 'Resistance in Climate Change' with Ingrid Uko Ennin To warm things up before the music takes over at 16:00, ease into the day with an interactive workshop designed to connect early and ground yourself in the space. Kick off with a short presentation on climate resistance, followed by a collaborative, sustainable collage session. Bring your ideas and paper scraps to build the visual conversation with us. Ingrid Uko Ennin will be also taking over the space through exhibiting her colourful paintings and poetic figures. --------------------------- Edition .11 is another step in our ever lasting journey to shape a community where everyone is welcome. We believe in unity and respect, and we have zero tolerance for attitudes that divide. To keep us going, we ask for a nominal entry fee with proceeds split transparently: 37% is donated directly to Doctors Without Borders (MSF) to deliver life-saving care on global frontlines, and 63% goes toward supporting our involved artists. We want this space to remain accessible. We also reserve a limited number of donation-only £3 tickets for anyone unable to pay the full price.
