— Some returns carry a particular meaning. At the end of August, we gathered in a warehouse in Saint-Denis, and that's where we're heading back on Saturday 28 November to celebrate the release of HYBRA DREEMING's first EP, coming out on the label at the end of the November. Behind this deliberately anonymous project, two familiar faces from the house : A Strange Wedding and Souzo. Two paths that had been crossing for years and now find common ground, slower, more deliberate, aimed at a shared euphoria on the dancefloor. HYBRA DREEMING's live set will bring this first record to life. For the occasion, we're inviting the leading figure of sci-fi techno, Andy Martin. Between techno and Latin Caribbean sounds, the Mexican-Jamaican artist draws a futurism whose tracks have echoed through Berghain, Tresor and De School, and his latest collaboration with dub legend Lee Scratch Perry says a lot about his reach. Alongside him, neska, Basque-born and Amsterdam-based, a classically trained pianist who has played Dekmantel and Primavera Sound. She builds her sets as stories, between techno, breaks, bass, dub and ambient, and extends that curiosity through the fauna & flora series and her neskafe show on Echobox Radio. And a B2B between Roulita and KEUT : she, part of the useless seconds family, a bold self-taught artist, often invited to essaim as well as Berghain, between deep techno and minimal ; he, a craftsman of the Parisian techno scene and founder of the Kluster collective, who pairs raw 90s techno with more current broken touches, between hypnotic atmospheres and enveloping kicks inherited from dub.
