Born and raised in New Jersey, MEEP has a love for synth-heavy Italo disco, funky grooves, deep bass, and sounds that get a little weird. Drawing from disco, house, UK garage, and experimental bass music, MEEP is constantly digging for hidden tracks and sounds that deserve to be heard. Sets blend familiar favorites with underground finds, weaving together grooving beats, unexpected genre switches, and unpredictable buildups. Born of the ashes of a Sopranos-themed Ramones cover band, NYC local band supergroup THE NEW YORK NIGHTCLUBS (featuring of members of Lola Liar, Arlo Indigo, Gold Casio, and Couvo) plays tight, punchy, and poignant songs about the surreal and humorous realities of living in New York City while chasing the ever-elusive dream of “making it.” Shagshop Rooftop, a Brooklyn party/jam-filled band from Brooklyn, got its name from throwing a dozen raucous DIY rooftop parties atop of Shag, a sexy shop in Williamsburg, over the last seven years. Their last rooftop show, on top of Shag, brought over 200 people and was featured on Mayor Mamdani's Instagram. Fixations brings you independent rock music straight from Brooklyn, NY. Inspired by punk lyricism and grunge grooves that force audiences out of the monotony of the machine and into a heavy sonic swirl. STOKE on the sludge.
