Some Traces Of House represents an artistic platform focused on underground house music where different sound perceptions are highlighted according to each artist. This concept was founded by Ivan Dallmann in 2020. STOH allows international artists to express themselves in music podcasts and it also works as an independent record label and musical events promoter, aiming to diversify channels and boost up different ways of expression. This time we are hosting Santi Cichelli a well known figure among Buenos Aires Dj’s and big friend at Jolene in the mythical meat packing district of Copenhagen. He will take the booth for most part of the night, being responsible of setting up the finest sound atmosphere, spinning his best selection disco house and soulful grooves, right after Ivan Dallmann in charge of warming of the venue with the deepest house tunes. Santiago is a DJ, architect and musician from Buenos Aires, Argentina who has an immense passion and respect for music. With an eclectic influence and trajectory, he loves to collect, share and mix music on vinyl, and with a varied and fun disco and house collection he mainly exhibits a fusion of these genres in his live performances, always maintaining a festive and happy energy in the dancefloor. Although his record collection spans from heavy metal to jazz fusion, he mainly plays Disco and House in his sets. Early Balearic House beats, 80s Italo House/Disco basslines and pads, soulful gospel vocals, classic 70s disco strings, organic percussions and early 2000’s filter house bliss are some of the sounds that take part of Santi´s sets. Influenced by the dance philosophy and culture of early disco and house clubs such as the Paradise Garage and the raw mixing styles of Larry Levan and Ron Hardy, Santi likes to evoke a certain resurgence of history, but having in mind the modern electronic music dancer´s expectations. Throughout this career Santiago had the opportunity of playing in many of the best venues and parties in Buenos Aires, including Artlab, Crobar Studio, Avant Garten, Dune Park, High Life, Humano Festival, Vicio Fantasía, Fusion, Linea Caliente and many others. His varied interest in music allows him to deliver the most intimate listening experiences in HIFI bars too, having shared his selection in venues like Bimbinilo, Acaiá Café (Brazil) as well as AVG Electric Café. His sets and performances have been recorded by many channels, such as Tilt Breakfast, Mudd Show, Dune Park, Detroit Classic Gallery (E101011), Deep Dive, Crate Guest, and others. Although he is part of the underground electronic music scene in Buenos Aires, Santi has worked and collaborated with brands such as Adidas and Vans for different performances and events.
