ABOUT HEAVE Heave Festival is an independent grassroots project founded by a group of friends through a shared love of music, sound and nature. Our aim is to create an intimate gathering where underground music can be experienced outside the traditional club setting. Across two days, Heave brings together artists, collectives and independent projects around a carefully curated programme moving through house, electro, techno and hypnotic sounds from daylight to sunrise. LOCATION Heave takes place near the small village of Las Inviernas. The site sits within a secluded pocket of woodland alongside open fields and the Río Tajuña, a quiet natural setting shaped by trees, water and open landscape. The festival is approximately 80 minutes by car from Madrid. Festival coordinates: 40°50'01.42"N 2°39'06.11"W ART & LANDSCAPE Sculpture has always been a fundamental part of the Heave project. The festival takes place within Juan Garaizabal's sculpture park, with works installed throughout the landscape and festival site. The surroundings form an active part of the experience, bringing music, sculpture and nature together across the weekend. PROGRAMMING & OPENING HOURS Heave unfolds across two days, with each session moving from daylight through the night and into the following morning. FRIDAY 25 SEPTEMBER Doors: 17:00 Music: 18:00–10:00 Saturday SATURDAY 26 SEPTEMBER Doors: 17:00 Music: 18:30–10:00 Sunday Between the two sessions, the music will pause to allow time to rest, eat, explore the surroundings and spend time on the land before the programme begins again. MUSIC DIRECTION & COLLECTIVE COLLABORATIONS For Friday's programme, Heave collaborates with 008 and Trinchera.XV to curate a lineup rooted in vinyl-led house, electro and techno. Expect deep, rolling selections, warm grooves and a gradually evolving journey through the first night. For Saturday, Heave works alongside Symbole Community, moving towards a more techno-focused direction and raising the intensity across the second night, while remaining connected to the overall sound and spirit of the gathering. SOUND SYSTEM Heave partners with Rostro Soundsystems, a DIY custom-built sound system project based in Barcelona. Rooted in independent sound culture, Rostro brings a handcrafted approach to audio, building their own systems with a focus on fidelity, low-end, clarity and physical sound. GETTING THERE BY CAR Heave takes place in a rural natural setting that is not well connected by public transport. Travelling by car or using the Heave shuttle from Guadalajara is strongly recommended. FROM MADRID The drive takes approximately 80–90 minutes. From Madrid, follow the A-2 towards Guadalajara / Zaragoza and take Exit 107 towards Las Inviernas. From there, continue towards the village and follow festival signage for the final approach to the site. CARPOOLING We strongly encourage carpooling wherever possible. SHUTTLE BUSES Heave will operate direct shuttle buses between Estación de Autobuses de Guadalajara and the festival site on both days. COMING FROM MADRID? Attendees travelling from Madrid can take the ALSA R8 bus from Avenida de América to Guadalajara, departing at approximately 19:00 and arriving at Estación de Autobuses de Guadalajara at around 20:00, in time to connect with the Heave shuttle at 20:30. This connection is available on both Friday 25 and Saturday 26 September. PARKING Free parking will be available on site throughout the weekend, located close to both the campsite and the main festival area. CAMPING & ACCOMMODATION Camping is included with all festival tickets and available throughout the weekend. Bring your own tent and camping equipment. THE CAMPSITE The campsite is located on site, around a 5-minute walk from the stage. Set behind the main festival area and next to the river, it provides a quieter space to rest away from the dancefloor. Toilets and drinking water will be available throughout the weekend. RE-ENTRY You are free to leave and re-enter the festival throughout the weekend, including if you are staying in nearby accommodation. FOOD & DRINKS BREAKFAST — 07:00–11:00 Fruit, hot tea and coffee, and homemade sandwiches will be available each morning. DAYTIME FOOD — 10:00–18:00 During the break between sessions, food trucks will serve homemade food and smoothies. Vegan and vegetarian options will be available. DINNER — 18:00–22:00 Local food trucks from the surrounding area will also be serving throughout the evening. DRINKING WATER Free drinking water will be available from the on-site well throughout the festival. BAR — 18:00–10:00 The festival bar will run throughout the night and into the following morning on both days. Heave is a small, independently run festival, with ticket and bar income directly supporting the project. Bringing outside alcoholic drinks into the festival site or camping area is therefore not permitted. BETWEEN SESSIONS The site remains open throughout the daytime break. Alongside food and breakfast, there will be a small programme of workshops and activities, dedicated rest areas and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the surroundings before the music begins again. WEATHER & WHAT TO BRING Heave takes place outdoors in a rural natural setting, so temperatures can change considerably between day and night. Daytime temperatures are typically around 20–23°C, while at night and in the early morning they can drop to around 10°C. We strongly recommend bringing enough warm clothing to stay comfortable throughout the night and into sunrise.
