Stretch Your Legs x [PLACEHOLDER]

2026-09-25
22:00:00 - 04:00:00
Jupiter Disco, New York

Stretch Your Legs is coming together with fellow Brooklyn based community party [PLACEHOLDER] to celebrate the official first weekend of Fall. Why be sad about the end of Summer when instead you can simply dance your way into the next season surrounded by good people and good tunes. In addition to residents from both parties we will be treated to a club debut from our special guest, Mommy Husband. If you haven't heard of her, come find out. Leg Room have individually been playing records in their own homes and private parties for years. The two have a wide range of tastes and neither like being boxed into one category. The pandemic forced them into a situation where they were living together where they realized their collections provide a nice balance to each other. Leg Room was born out of a passion for creating space for friends to dance since that's what Leg Room are, friends. In the second half of 2023 they were given a residency at Outer Heaven in Manhattan, NY and moved the party outside of private spaces and into the club. Since then the duo have played many of New York's top dance floors bringing their Stretch Your Legs party to Dead Letter no9, Jupiter Disco, Elsewhere, Silo and more. The thing about Leg Room is, the more you get the better you feel. Mommy Husband Is a Brooklyn-based DJ. Her sound bounces upwards from fizzy to thick to sweet, leaving you energized and statieted (this was written while drinking a McDonald's fountain coke, but the metaphor stands). DJ Goodboy is Brooklyn-based by way of Canada where he grew up, while Cutting his teeth in Glasgow and San Francisco before landing in NYC. His sound channels a percussive, cross-Atlantic energy layered with a subtle, dubby touch, all rotted in the Brooklyn Underground. Co-Founder of the [PLACEHOLDER] party series, he holds a residency at Honey's and has played all across NYC and beyond. His radio work includes shows for Voices London, Callshop Vienna, and Brooklyn's own The Lot Radio. Pedestrian Access, fellow [PLACEHOLDER] co-founder, is a DJ, designer, and producer most often found playing strung-out afterparties, verdant renegades, and an occasional nightclub. His sound can be loosely defined by dark, dissonant tonality and percussive experimentalism. His vinyl and digital collections span acros decades of acid, breakbeat, house, and techno grounded in firm beats and wise rhythms. __________ Jupiter Disco is a safe space for all. Our most important goal is to ensure everyone who steps into our space feels welcome and safe. In order to achieve this goal, it's mission critical that everyone approaches each other with respect. That means everyone. We are passionate about bringing people together and building connections between participants in and adjacent to our community. Go ahead and say hi to someone new while you're here with us! If you see or experience anything that makes you feel uncomfortable, please alert one of our team members and we will coordinate a resolution immediately. We encourage everyone to be present and interface with the physical elements around you while you're with us, so we ask that you please limit your phone use throughout the space. Phone screen and camera lights can also be distracting, so please be mindful of the brightness and the length of time you use those lights, if at all. If you intend to smoke (anything), please take a break outside and take a few steps down the block. Don't worry, we always have re-entry.
