Moodoïd presents La Touche Française Faux Real and Moodoïd, with Iris di Napoli live Wednesday 11 November, 9pm until late Experimental Cocktail Club, Chinatown Moodoïd’s La Touche Française returns with DJ sets from Faux Real and Moodoïd, and a live performance from Iris di Napoli. Faux Real are Elliott and Virgile Arndt, Franco-American brothers who have quietly made the pop performance their own: matching outfits, choreography, and a wit that keeps you guessing where the act ends. Formed between Paris and London, now based in Los Angeles, they come to Gerrard Street fresh from Poison Time, their second album. Behind the decks, expect the same instinct for the unexpected. Before them, Iris di Napoli plays live. Raised in Strasbourg by two opera singers and now moving between Paris and London, she writes confessional pop built around voice and guitar, the kind best heard up close. Her first EP under her own name arrived this summer. Moodoïd, the mind behind La Touche Française, takes to the decks himself. Having curated every night of the series so far, this time he plays a set of his own. As ever, a short list of signature cocktails accompanies the night. Entry is first come, first served. Once the room is full, the door turns to one in, one out.
