Mike Brightly (Guitar), Jon Kukura (Bass) and Mike Garavel (Keys) all met outside Hollywood Bowl before a Phish show in Spring 2025. Later that summer, Aaron Graybill (drums) joined the group. Whether it be busking on Hollywood Blvd, or performing on local stages around LA, the quartet brings rock, jazz fusion, jam, and funk to every live performance. Absurdity is also inevitable. An alumna of Berkeley High School, Cal State Northridge and New England Conservatory, Mariel is the 2018 recipient of the ASCAP Phoebe Jacobs Young Jazz Composer Award. She has played on American Idol, The Voice and Noches Con Platanito. She has also played with Karol G, BBNO$, Andy Grammer and Oingo Boingo Former Members. Red Rabbit & The Burrows has a jazz foundation with strong rock & roll influence.
