Vereda formed in East Williamsburg in late 2025 after a jam session organized by drummer Tony Flow. What began as a one-time gathering quickly became an ongoing collaboration between musicians from across New York City's diverse music scene. Blending backgrounds in jazz, gospel, reggae, Latin music, house, and songwriting, each member brings a distinct voice to the band's evolving sound. Their music is driven by extended grooves, improvisation, and rhythmic energy that invites both dancing and attentive listening. Now a regular presence in Williamsburg and throughout Brooklyn, Vereda continues to grow its audience through live performances while working on its debut full-length album, set for release in 2026.
