Next Thursday night September 10th at Green Room — bringing together new series, focusing only on music and sharing music with some of our favourite selectors, including a few you don’t get to catch behind the decks nearly often enough. Keep your local scene alive - support the artists shaping it. Kiyoshi Invites Edwin - Edwin is a Brooklyn based American-Peruvian designer and DJ, born and raised just outside Washington, D.C. Inspired by a lifelong love of music and dance floors in both the U.S. and Peru, he’s been living and digging in New York for nearly a decade and playing parties and clubs around Brooklyn with a love for hip-hop, jazz, and deep house sounds. Secret Grapes - is a DJ and organizer focused on creating meaningful narratives and deeper connections through music. A longtime digger of all things progressive, emotional, and downright deep, she spent more than a decade combing through dollar bins for rare gems—long before many record shops even had progressive house sections. Now, she’s intent on bringing those records out of the bins and onto the dance floor, where they belong. Beyond the booth, Secret Grapes creates gatherings that explore music as a vehicle for connection, discovery, and transformation. She currently runs Leisure Emporium, a pop-up sonic healing series; New World Energy, a musical clothing swap and wellness event; and Cinergy, a newly launched monthly film-score series at The Bakery. Mariano - Argentinian born and New York based, Mariano moves through minimal, deep house and techno with a taste for stripped back grooves and deep basslines. His approach is less about chasing peaks and more about building a mood letting tracks breathe, shift and slowly pull the room in. Rooted in rhythm and atmosphere, his sets are warm, hypnotic and always focused on the dance floor. Kiyoshi - is a Tbilisi-born, New York–based DJ whose roots in ballet shaped her relationship with rhythm and movement before eventually leading her to turntables and vinyl. Now staple resident of Golden Record and regular at Green Room.
