After thirty years of “Strokes Temple”, the time has come to talk about it. Our sincere thanks to everyone who has ever contributed to organizing the raves that took place over the years. We are proud of everyone who continues to spread the ideas and spirit of Lithuania’s electronic music scene around the world and put Lithuania on the map. Soon, we will have a chance to meet at a major musical celebration and remember that this year marks 30 years since October 19, 1996, when the very first Strokes Temple rave shook the walls of Vilnius’ “Kablys”. What followed was a wave of raves that helped inspire freedom and confidence among the pioneers and leading lights of the electronic music scene. Back then, ravers were united by the credo: “Love, Peace, Tolerance.” They would gather in large numbers at electronic music festivals. And they still do. So we invite ravers of all generations to mark October 16 in their calendars and join us for the birthday rave at Vilnius’ “Loftas” Arts Factory.
