Five years later, we’ve welcomed emerging DJs, artists and fashion designers to their debut stages, invited international artists to perform in Budapest for the first time, transformed dance floors into theatrical worlds, and shared stories inspired by the history and mythology of Ancient Egypt. Along the way, a growing community of artists, creators and curious minds has shaped Memphis into what it is today. To mark our fifth anniversary, we return to the woman whose name outlived an empire. Our ritual follows Cleopatra through the final chapters of her reign. As the sun sets over her kingdom, memories of power, celebration, love and betrayal unfold within the walls of her palace. In collaboration with The Balance, Memphis returns to Turbina with its largest multidisciplinary edition to date. For this special edition, we welcome German DJ Fabe for his first performance in Budapest. The night also brings a series of new encounters: CRB joins forces with Kiqo, who makes his Memphis debut, for an exclusive back-to-back set, plus an old b2b of Flixon & U-Seph, while Stark joins the lineup alongside Arash Ete. For the first time, Memphis also expands into a second room curated by ENDO, where Schraeder b2b Millschko, DJ VBS, and Calippo will explore a broader spectrum of electronic music, creating a different rhythm alongside the main room. The dance floor becomes the Queen’s palace through a fashion show by 15 designers, 4 live painting performances headlined by Dutch artist Mies, who will present a live painting performance abroad for the very first time alongside our resident artists, an art exhibition by 15 artists, cinematic live visuals by our VJ System, Tooth Gem, Tattoos, and the Alter Ego Fragrance Experience.
