We’re thrilled to welcome Paris-based producer and DJ u.r.trax for our next Stay Local on September 4 at Popstel Galatasaray, with Def G and BasicDisarm setting the tone for the night. Emerging from the Paris underground, u.r.trax has built a world of her own through an ever-evolving approach to electronic music. From her early days behind the decks at Concrete to releases on Hector Oaks’ KAOS and Nina Kraviz’s трип, she quickly became one of the most distinctive voices of a new generation of club music. Her Third Ear release marked a defining moment, moving between deep, dark atmospheres and euphoric, ethereal energies. Refusing to stay within the boundaries of a single genre, her sets move through trippy techno, cold electro, dark trance and deconstructed rhythms — unpredictable journeys shaped by instinct, intensity and constant movement. Beyond the club, her work has expanded into sound design and composition, including soundtracks for Paris fashion house Coperni, while her productions continue to push beyond traditional techno structures. Setting the tone for the night, Def G and BasicDisarm take over the opening hours. Def G brings her infectious positive energy to the floor with one thing in mind: it’s all about dance. Istanbul-based BasicDisarm follows with a genre-fluid selection rooted in ’90s club culture, moving through EBM, techno, breakbeat and trance.
