Sonson has been part of Munich’s electronic music scene for many years, developing a sound shaped by House music, constant evolution and a strong connection to the dancefloor. Starting out with sets heavily influenced by US House, he gradually explored different corners of electronic music and developed his own distinctive approach. His sets move between deep grooves, driving rhythms and atmospheric moments, always built around flow and the idea of taking the crowd on a journey. As a Pimpernel resident since 2017 and the club’s DJ booker since 2024, Sonson is deeply connected to Munich’s local scene. His productions have appeared on labels including Diynamic, Aprapta, Barré Music and Compost Records, while his edits have found their way into sets by artists such as Solomun, Dixon and Trikk.
