Karibuni tena kwenye ‘Bricks’ on Saturday 12th December in Brixton for the third installment of Kiiswahili, London’s new networking and nightlife event for lovers of East African Culture and Music. Created by Baraka (@barak\_a\_ on TikTok), Kiiswahili brings together the Swahili diaspora to connect, practice the language, celebrate culture, and party in one inclusive space. Doors open at 10pm, and we will party through the night until 4am, and expect old school Bongo Flava, as well as new hits, Chakacha and Singeli. And no, Kiiswahili isn’t a spelling mistake. Inspired by “kiki” culture, the name reflects a social gathering centred around conversation, community and good vibes. Everyone is welcome.
