London-based producer Surusinghe brings her fast, unpredictable and bass-heavy sound to our dancefloor on Saturday, October 24. Originally from Melbourne, she moves freely between bass, reggaeton, broken beat and techno, tying it all together with a sharp percussive edge. Her sets rarely sit still, switching tempos and textures while keeping the pressure on. Kevin Kofii and O'SIMMIE join forces for a back-to-back. Kevin's rhythm-driven selections draw from drum-led club music and the new wave of global club sounds, while Brussels-based O'SIMMIE, co-founder of Gloom Club, shapes energetic blends of rhythmic bass music rooted in his South American heritage. Two approaches that meet where the drums lead and the bass follows. Maraskino rounds out the night with a blend of bass, dubstep and percussive rhythms, building tension and release with the occasional introspective turn.
