Disko International is back for another round this Thursday, joined by our longtime friend AFREAK. He has impeccable taste in music and is a truly wonderful human being, so he's no exception to allt the guests we've had so far ;) AFREAK is a Dj, producer and music enthusiast, searching on African and Caribbean music and the sounds of global Africa. Always curious of the clashes among cultures, music and styles, he is a true believer of the positive forces of contamination. Since 2000, he has been playing records for festivals, clubs and private parties. Resident DJ and promoter of various event formats in Italy, co-curator of the eclectic musical platform Mixology, since 2020 he is based in Berlin, where he’s producing and further honing his musical skills. Be sure to check out his 2024 release "Zou's Journey" with Zouratié Koné and Massimiliano Troiani! Stay strong, Thursday evening isn't far away, and we'd be delighted to have you join us for another voyage through music and our crates!
