The Berlin-based trio is the collaborative project of Greek-German dark disco duo Local Suicide and Kalipo, producer and founding member of the legendary electro-punk band Frittenbude. Blending Italo disco, new wave, EBM, synth-pop and early electroclash, Dina Summer have created a distinctive sound driven by powerful basslines, cinematic melodies and captivating vocals. Following the release of their acclaimed new album Girls Gang, the trio have expanded their sound even further, embracing post-punk and synth-pop while continuing to sell out venues and headline festivals across Europe. Best known as a founding member of the influential electro-punk band Frittenbude, his solo project blends dark disco, electroclash, wave, techno and house into a powerful live performance. With five solo albums, over 20 million streams and releases on labels including Get Physical, Ki Records and Iptamenos Discos, Kalipo has established himself as one of the leading names in Berlin's underground electronic scene. LOCAL SUICIDE - DJ set Berlin-based DJ and producer duo Local Suicide have been at the forefront of the dark disco movement since 2008. The Greek-German couple first made their name through Berlin's underground scene before gaining international recognition for their eclectic DJ sets, blending new wave, Italo, indie dance, post-disco, EBM and dark techno.
