Roman Flügel, one of the most influential figures in the German electronic music scene. Active force since the early 1990s, he has continuously reinvented himself as a DJ, live performer, producer, and remixer, a true musical chameleon who touches on many styles, from ambient and IDM to house, techno, electro, and leftfield. Flügel is known for his versatility, releasing under various aliases such as Acid Test, Eight Miles High, Roman III, Roman IV, Soylent Green, Alter Ego, and Acid Jesus, and for founding the seminal labels Ongaku, Klang Elektronik, and Playhouse. Delivering a live performance is an award-winning Georgian classical and electronic music composer, cofounder of the Tesseract and AWWWARA labels, Cobert. The eclectic, multilayered musician Giorgi Koberidze's striking body of work spans experimental and instrumental compositions, a breadth clearly reflected in his discography. His luminous full-length debut album, Forests, Tales, Cities, Forests, was released on Kit Records in 2025 and draws inspiration from Georgian musical traditions, cross-pollinating indigenous instrumentation with electronic and Western classical timbres. Working from graphic scores, Giorgi's ensemble includes strings, woodwinds, and traditional instruments from the Caucasus, the doli, and chuniri. Fleeting voices, field recordings, and skittering percussion converge to paint a storied map of Tbilisi and its surrounding terrain, a forested polyphony of microtonal peaks and crags. His work, composed for the film What Do We See When We Look at the Sky?, won second place at the International Cinephile Society Awards and was nominated for Best Music at the German Film Critics Prize. Cobert lectures in music programming at the Tbilisi State Conservatoire.
