INK&ART Vol. 02 — A Vernissage To Get Lost In INK&ART is a vernissage, not a party and not a convention. For one afternoon and evening, visual art, tattooing, piercing, tooth gems and electronic music share a single space — and merge. For Vol. 02, the Black Hall at Mahalla becomes a walk-in exhibition labyrinth. You move through it, lose your way, find a painter at work, a tattoo artist with a client, a DJ set that has already shifted since you came in. Artists exhibit and sell directly; nothing is curated for the market, everything is curated for the room. The music follows the light. It starts in daylight with house and gets darker as the hall does, ending in techno at 22:00. Vol. 01 took place in April at Bunker West and showed what this format does: scenes that normally never meet — tattoo, painting, photography, club — in one room, talking to each other. Vol. 02 is the bigger version of that. Same idea, more space, more artists, a hall built to get lost in. Come early. The exhibition is best in daylight, the music is best after.
