*I Am the Performative Object* is a dynamic rush of late afternoon and evening performances that close the public event programme of Field Studies: Present Tense, a five-day teaching residency exploring performance as a form of group research and collective practice. The evening features performances by Lin Chiwei, Maite de Orbe, Cedrik Fermont, Martin Sigler + Damsel Elyisum, alongside work in progress developed by Field Studies participants with the artists during the residency. Lin Chiwei is working with Present Tense students on a new Tape Score performance. Maite de Orbe presents a urational performance using tracing, chalk and amplified sound. Cedrik Fermont brings a performance lecture on relation and encounter animated by noise, electronic and electroacoustic practice. Martin Sigler performs a reading of the eponymous *I Am the Performative Body* to an ambient soundscape created by Damsel Elysium. https://field-studies.org
