Cielo Sessions returns to the Santa Monica Mountains on Sunday, September 13, 2026 for an intimate sunset gathering rooted in music, connection, and community. The evening will feature a special Sam Barsh x Daru Jones duo set, bringing together two GRAMMY-winning musicians for a one-of-a-kind live collaboration. Barsh, a producer, songwriter, and keyboardist, has worked with Kendrick Lamar, Anderson .Paak, The Weeknd, and Aloe Blacc, while Jones is an acclaimed drummer and producer known for his work with Jack White, Pete Rock, Talib Kweli, and Slum Village. Together, they’ll explore jazz, hip-hop, soul, and beat culture through an intimate, spontaneous performance. Rounding out the evening is a special guest vinyl DJ set from Mayer Hawthorne, the GRAMMY-nominated singer, songwriter, producer, and DJ known for his modern take on classic soul and funk. A lifelong record collector with deep Detroit roots, Hawthorne brings an eclectic mix of soul, funk, disco, hip-hop, and deep cuts to the turntables as the sun goes down over Cielo. Set against sweeping views of the Santa Monica Mountains, the evening will also feature boutique Cielo wines and local food vendors.
