Feel like big tech has fractured your attention? Interested in reclaiming it? Then join LA’s first Attention Sanctuary -- an informal monthly salon and community gathering dedicated to the cultivation of non-commodified attention. Through guided discussion, we’ll: Examine our relationship to technology and the attention economy. Explore means of resistance. Build community. Foster our attentional capacities. Eat snacks. Inspired by the work of Friends of Attention. Facilitated by Hilary Weisman Graham. Hilary Weisman Graham is the creator/showrunner of the Netflix anthology series, Social Distance, and has worked as a writer/producer on Kidding, Orange is the New Black, and Bones. She is the author of the YA book, Reunited (Simon & Schuster), and forthcoming novel, Home for Runaway Mothers.
