Young Boy Dancing Group은 2014년 시작된 유동적인 퍼포먼스 그룹이다. 처음에는 이름 없는 퍼포먼스 콜렉티브로 출발해 끊임없이 변화하는 댄서들의 네트워크를 포용하는 형태로 활동해왔다. 비디오, 사진, 패션, 조각, 설치 등 다양한 매체를 넘나들며 작업해왔으며, 특히 신체의 물질성과 빛의 비물질성이 만나는 날것의 친밀한 퍼포먼스로 잘 알려져 있다. Spike Magazine은 이들의 작업을 “신체적 강도, 관능성, 극단적인 부조리를 몰입적으로 탐구하는 작업”이라고 평했다. Culture Bot의 Sam Max는 이들의 퍼포먼스를 삶과 죽음 사이를 부유하는 경험에 비유하며, 끊임없이 무너질 위협 속에서도 계속해서 춤을 통과해 나아가는 집단적 의식과 같다고 설명한다.
