Tanzen3000 x Beate Uwe is part of “Day of Club Culture Festival Week” with a special programme and a true Berlin icon on the line-up! We open doors a little earlier than usual (17:30) to kick things off with a Club Lecture by Kadir “Amigo” Memiş. Amigo is an icon of Berlin’s Hip Hop culture, as well as a celebrated choreographer and performance artist. His lecture is the deeply personal story of his life, sharing perspectives on Berlin from the 80s until today, migrant life and artistry, Hip Hop, and dance culture. Following the talk, Amigo will guide a dance workshop that puts his story into movement, blending traditional Turkish music with club energy. Ben Pavlidis will take over the decks afterwards for a 2-hour musical journey mixing different genres, rhythms and bpm. His sets challenge the dancefloor to stay attentive, break free from patterns and play with new movement. Tal Siano is the evening’s host and your personal flight attendant in charge of the landing through a guided cool down and moment of integration. +++ ABOUT TANZEN3000 +++ Tanzen3000 is bringing more dance to the dancefloor. The crew combines backgrounds in DJing, dance, rapping, somatics, and nightlife activism. In our space, there's no distraction or shortcut - stay sober, phones off, no chatter, just dance. The session starts with a guided warm-up. We get loose together and share simple concepts to play and interact with on a club dancefloor. The warm-up is inclusive to all, no matter your previous dance experience or physical condition. Next, we transition into an open dancefloor, framed by one (!) DJ set, specially curated for the evening. A trippy experience through shifting genres, rhythms, and BPMs, challenging the dancefloor to leave patterns and explore ever-new ways of moving.
