a big announcement and an even bigger line-up this month @signals_ambient 7pm wednesday 30th september.. coming in strong with sydney artist @_tonepoem who uses subtle beating tones, waves of noise, and ringing harmonics to unfold sonic environments that dwell in gradual shifts and reward immersion.. vibes.. @_willebrant is returning to the signals stage in the wake of what is somewhat unbelievably his 36th release for this project.. he'll be debuting "the pilgrim live", an interpretation of the 2025 release "the pilgrim - slowed and reverb".. promising a tunnel of warm, slow and evolving drones, field recordings, manipulated bells and sub frequencies set to a visual narrative.. and finally the woodwind power duo of the moment, naarm's leading looping clarinet artist @clariloops and baroque flute and field recording specialist @meredithbeardmore are topping the bill.. plus, in another exciting first for us, they'll be recording their debut album live before your eyes and ears.. -- aand an important announcement -- with heavy and grateful hearts we're letting our community know that this event will be our last at our cute room upstairs @kentst for the foreseeable future, as they kick off some renovations in the space.. we have a great new spot which we'll share on the night and on this account soon, but meanwhile please come thru this wednesday sept 30th and help us say thanks and aloha to the awesome crew at Kent St who have held us for the last 3 years.. upstairs @kentst [ for the last time! ] 201 smith st fitzroy doors 7 | music 7:30 $20 cash or card on the door come be a part of the aloha artwork by @daniel.otoole live sound by @clrstks + @_uuxe_ hosting @ok.ruffles
