CasaBranca invites you all to embrace the end of this mirage-like summer, calling upon the freshness of bodies and souls through the sounds of an Italian artist and experimenter: Matteo Scaioli. ____ Matteo Scaioli is an artist who trained as a percussionist after years of studying in India. Among his many projects, he developed the live performance “Harmograph”, which we have the pleasure of hosting in our beloved social space. “Harmograph” is a handcrafted dimension from which the instrument of the same name, invented by Matteo, takes shape: a gong with a unique and profound sound. In his live performance, the Emilian artist connects the sounds of his inventions within a dilated space-time through a cosmic breath: an invisible guide to rhythms, accents and harmonies. For those who are not familiar with his work, we recommend listening to his album “Harmograph”, released only a few months ago by “BRA”, an acronym for “Big Room Ambient”, one of the latest curatorial projects of Spazio Disponibile, the record label founded by Neel & Donato Dozzy. Donato returns home once again for the talk and listening session “Ascolti Rituali”, presented by philosopher Jamira Colapietro, we will listen to an album chosen by the maestro of Brancaleone, followed by a space for open discussion and sharing. After Matteo Scaioli’s live performances, the night will continue in Bolla. __ Once again, we would like to thank the Collective Mood crew, who together with the Brancaleone collective and the curatorship of Freddye and Donato, bring these precious encounters of sonic experiences to life. We are also presenting the season’s graphic design by Luca Corsi, already active at Branca as a volunteer and founder of the self-production festival "BADA".
