High-octane sludge riffs meet opalescent hypnagogia to create the soundtrack of a gothic hookah lounge. Drummer Dean Snowball brings savage precision and jazz sensibility to frontwoman Beatrice Douaihy’s shadowy writing on baritone guitar. Since forming their live band in 2022, and the additions of synth player Mic Loreto and bassist Mitch Hartung, they have delivered a whimsical strain of heavy music to Toronto’s DIY scene, opening for touring acts like Cloakroom, Chained to the Bottom of the Ocean, Comet, and Taraneh. New music is on the way for 2026, exploring malaise and intimacy in the age of cyber ubiquity.
