Frank Wiedemann i Kristian Beyer, razem z Dixonem stojący za Innervisions, od ponad dwóch dekad tworzą własny muzyczny świat gdzieś pomiędzy house’em, techno, melodią i emocją. To właśnie oni stworzyli „Rej” — utwór, który w 2005 roku stał się jednym z najważniejszych momentów w historii Âme i pomógł zdefiniować brzmienie rodzącego się Innervisions. Później przyszły m.in. „Howling”, „Fiori”, „Mifune” i lata konsekwentnego przesuwania granic muzyki klubowej. Ale ÂME LIVE to Frank Wiedemann. To on odpowiada za koncertową, live’ową stronę Âme — zamiast klasycznego DJ setu buduje muzykę na żywo, przetwarzając i rozwijając materiał Âme w czasie rzeczywistym. On November 7, FRANK WIEDEMANN of Âme brings ÂME LIVE to SLOW. Âme is one of those projects that is impossible to separate from the story of contemporary electronic music. Frank Wiedemann and Kristian Beyer, together with Dixon behind Innervisions, have spent more than two decades creating their own universe somewhere between house, techno, melody and emotion. Their 2005 track “Rej” became a defining moment for both Âme and the emerging Innervisions sound. It was followed by records and remixes including “Howling”, “Fiori” and “Mifune”, and years of continuously pushing electronic music forward. But ÂME LIVE means Frank Wiedemann. Frank is responsible for the live side of Âme. Rather than playing a conventional DJ set, he performs and reshapes the music live, bringing a completely different dimension to the Âme catalogue. With a background in bands, Wiedemann approaches the computer as an instrument rather than simply a playback device. And this is exactly how we’ll experience him at SLOW. Not a DJ set. ÂME LIVE.
