Kara-Lis Coverdale composes and performs musical works across acoustic and electronic mediums to create works that transcend reality. Driven by a devotion to sonic afterlife, memory, and material curiosity, Coverdale’s work occupies new planes built upon a borderless understanding of electronic music, rooted in the interlocking pathways of musical systems and languages. Steadfastly committed to developing and expanding her vivid understanding of music as an immersive, tunable, and listening world rich in emotion and sensitivity, Pipe organ is a connective tissue throughout Coverdale’s opus, underpinning her spectral understanding of sound and harmony. After a hiatus from the instrument for strict focus on electronic touring 2016-2018, she began to explore solo pipe organ performance internationally and has since premiered several new organ works. Molina is a Danish-Chilean producer and composer, her music flows from an interest in combining digital, sample-based production with organic, hand-played instrumentation. Having achieved certain recognition with his dancefloor-oriented project buttechno, the Berlin-based artist is currently focused on sonic experiments and artistic collaborations under his birth name. Pavel uses his work as a means to acknowledge the true historic and cultural context, delving into sociopsychological issues that haunt the society, and addressing memory — both collective and individual — and its potential to change our visions of the future. For this performance, he presents *Thrill*, the final album in the trilogy he created with Yana Pavlova, live for the first time. DURATIONS Festival is a week-long, multi-disciplinary exploration of sound and connection. Now in its fifth iteration, the festival’s programming is its most robust yet, with seven days of music, talks, and audiovisual work taking place between Public Records, Pioneer Works, Roulette, and Whitney Museum of American Art. \- Public Records aims to provide a safer space.
