KLUB SUKAR 007 Klub Sukar is back for round number 7. For six chapters, we’ve been building this thing together. Familiar faces, new friendships, manadeel in the air and a dance floor that feels like home. Chapter seven keeps that spirit moving, with Mera Bhai b2b Moving Still taking the headline spot. Mera Bhai b2b Moving Still The mudeer is sharing the controls. London-based producer, DJ and multi-instrumentalist Mera Bhai brings a world of influences to the booth. With roots in India and an upbringing spanning Italy, Albania, Saudi Arabia, Dubai and Nigeria, his sound connects UK garage, French house and ’90s rave with Indian Carnatic music, Brazilian funk, disco and soul. A founding member of psych band Flamingods and formerly part of the team behind Daytimers, he’s been making serious moves with releases including Work Ain’t Nuthin’, the Now I Need You EP and collaborations with MAFRO and Lawrence Hart. Along the way, his music has picked up support from the likes of Todd Edwards, DJ Seinfeld, salute and TokiMonsta. Joining him is Klub Sukar’s founder, host Moving Still. The Saudi Irish DJ and producer brings his signature mix of Arabic melodies, percussion and club pressure to a back-to-back built for this room. Having already joined forces on Asuya Meraya, released via Platoon, the pair are taking that connection from the studio to the booth. Expect playful exchanges, unexpected turns and plenty of reasons to stay until the lights come on. Support comes from the family. Sahana Dublin-based DJ from NYC bringing old Chicago grooves, progressive trance, tech house and funky techno. DJ Karmawi Dublin-born Palestinian producer and DJ connecting rhythm, identity and resistance through uplifting club music. Hamza Joining the family on the controls for chapter seven. Flying Fatima Moroccan-Italian DJ based in Dublin. A supplier of North African rhythms, South African sounds and enough drum & bass to keep the room moving. Come with your people. Leave knowing a few more. Chapter seven.
