How do you create electronic live performances that are experimental, atmospheric, and danceable at the same time? And what role do sound design, music technology, and an individual artistic identity play in the process? Paoline Magnus is a Belgian electronic musician, singer, and producer based in Berlin. Her music combines processed breakbeats, atmospheric synthesizers, vocals, and self-developed sonic worlds to create a distinctive electronica sound. In this session, she shares insights into her creative process, her work with modular synthesis, sampling, and sound design, as well as the development of hybrid live performances.
