Our siblings in northern Ethiopia are once again under attack by the Ethiopian government. In recent weeks, Ethiopian troops launched heavy attacks on the region, thereby continuing the genocide of 2020. Tigrayans throughout the country are affected by these acts of aggression. Civilians are being systematically starved, displaced, ra*ped and killed. The attacks of the past few days have targeted hospitals, women, and children; tons of food aid have been destroyed; and the region is experiencing a communications blackout. For this reason, we are hosting a fundraiser event in Vienna on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, to collect donations for organizations working in or on behalf of the region.
