After being diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome several years ago, the producer, composer, and self-taught pianist realized he’d never again make music with his hands as he once knew them. A condition that causes severe finger hyper-extension, Telemakus was directed to wear eight silver rings around his finger joints at all times. As his connection and control of instruments slipped away, his rings became conduits; restored paths to self-expression. It was a shift that forced a new approach: composing by voice, by feet, by memory, by directing others to play what he could hear but could no longer physically reach. *Eight Ring Revival* is a diary for the 26-year-old Indian-American artist, brought to life through alchemy and the community around him.
