Beans on Toast returns in February 2027 for a special run of intimate, seated shows celebrating his new album The Great Unravelling. Recorded on the banks of the Huon River in Tasmania, the album is a soul-searching collection of songs exploring everything from distant galaxies to the magic of everyday life. These up-close and personal shows will see Beans perform songs from the new record alongside a handpicked selection from his expansive back catalogue. Expect an intimate, spontaneous and one-of-a-kind evening of songs, stories and everything in between. ‘Perhaps the defining voice of a generation’ – Louder Than War ‘The absolute finest chronicler of humankind’ – Maximum Volume ‘A travelling troubadour for the ages’ – Three Songs and Out ‘A proper folk singer’ – Frank Turner This concert takes place in Hallé at St Michael’s – a former Roman Catholic church, which was founded in 1859 and became the heart of the Little Italy Community in Ancoats.
