The Swirl, hosted by Japan-based Deep Tech label Play Of Color, returns for its sixth edition. Launched with the aim of bringing world-class sounds to Japan, the party has previously welcomed guests including Kolter, Vitess, and Dennis Quin. This time, Italian house producer duo YOUniverse joins as the special guest. Active as DJs and producers, YOUniverse have developed a distinctive sonic identity rooted in ’90s dance and house music, the raw energy of electro, and a strong hip-hop attitude. As resident DJs of Shout!, one of Italy’s most respected underground parties, they have become key figures in Turin’s club scene. In 2023, they launched Shout! Records as a natural extension of their artistic vision. The label has quickly established itself as one of the most promising names across the Italian and international underground circuit. Joining YOUniverse and Play Of Color members Amps, ISPA, and GooPer is Saeri, one of Japan’s leading tech house producers. With releases on some of the scene’s top labels, Saeri has gained support from major artists including Hot Since 82, Jamie Jones, and Franky Rizardo. Also on the lineup is HERO, a rising presence both as a DJ and producer who performs regularly at leading Tokyo clubs including VENT and WOMB. これまで Kolter、Vitess、Dennis Quin をゲストに迎え世界基準の音楽を日本にも伝えるべくスタートした、日本発の Deep Tech レーベル Play Of Color 主催パーティー The Swirl が第６回目の開催を迎える。今回はイタリア出身のハウスプロデューサーデュオ YOUniverse をゲストに迎える。 DJ、プロデューサーとして活動する YOUniverse は、90年代のダンスおよびハウスミュージック、生々しいエレクトロのエネルギー、そして強いヒップホップのアティチュードに根ざした、独自のサウンドアイデンティティを築き上げている。 またイタリアで最もリスペクトされているアンダーグラウンド・パーティーの一つ Shout! のレジデント DJ として、彼らはトリノのクラブシーンにおける中心人物へと成長を遂げ2023年にはレーベル Shout!
