MoBlack Afterparty

2026-09-04
22:00:00 - 04:00:00
214 Starr St, New York

Following the daytime MoBlack Records session at The Ruins, the crew heads to 99 Scott for the official afterparty with MoBlack, FALYN, Oktave, and CISUMMI. MoBlack leads the night, bringing the label he founded into a more intimate late-night setting after an afternoon outdoors at Knockdown Center. The Italian DJ and producer has spent years building a presence within Afro House as both an artist and label head, with support from Black Coffee, &ME, Rampa, Solomun, and Pete Tong. His touring history includes appearances at Terminus, Brunch Elektronik, and clubs across multiple continents, while his years living in Ghana have remained an important influence on the music he plays and releases. MoBlack Records has become an outlet for artists working across Afro House, Afro Tech, melodic house, and related sounds, making the afterparty a natural extension of the label showcase earlier in the day. FALYN joins from Miami, where she has become a growing name within the Afro House and Afro Tech community. Since emerging in 2023, her sets have reached audiences from California to Morocco, combining melodic elements with percussion-led club music. Also on the bill is Oktave, the NYC-based DJ, producer, and founder of Palosanto. His work within New York centers around carefully selected Afro House, melodic, and organic sounds, both behind the decks and through his own events. CISUMMI rounds out the lineup. The French-born, Brooklyn-based DJ and producer draws heavily from African and Latin musical influences. His track “DIKEBO,” released through MoBlack Records, received support from Rampa and Carlita, while his New York appearances have included support slots alongside Francis Mercier, Nitefreak, Ahmed Spins, and &friends. For those coming directly from The Ruins, 99 Scott offers a change of setting as the music moves indoors and carries on into the late hours. For everyone else, the afterparty stands on its own as a chance to hear MoBlack alongside three artists closely connected to the sounds surrounding his label.
