Join us for this years second edition of Palazzo Night at Flucc Deck. Mariam Gviniashvili will present a live set and immerse us in electro-acoustic sounds, Pnø will present material from the new album and Yuzu rounds up the evening with an eclectic DJ set. Mariam Gviniashvili is a Georgian composer and visual artist based in Oslo. She works with electroacoustic music, 3D sound, and instrumental composition, exploring the emotional and spatial dimensions of sound. Her practice, rooted in her background as a singer and pianist, moves between music and visual art. Recognized by Prix Ars Electronica and Prix CIME, she is commissioned by acclaimed institutions and ensembles such as INA GRM, ZKM Karlsruhe, MA/IN, Notam, Henie Onstad Art Centre, and Oslo Sinfonietta. PNØ is the duo project of experimental vocalist Agnes Hvizdalek and techno innovator Jakob Schneidewind on electronics. They combine minimalistic musical structures with organic improvisations, pure vocal sounds with drum machines, synthesizers and effects that trigger and manipulate each other’s output. Their vision for the future of music makes them explore crossing points between experimental and electronic dance music. Their album «Hypatia» was released in June at Palazzo Recordings. Yuzu is the alias of Sofia-born & Vienna-based composer and transdisciplinary artist Milena Georgieva. Guided by a fluid, unbound sense of music and listening, her mixing brings forward curious musical parallels and vivid synergies. While oscillating wildly between airy and dense textures, tension and release, ir-/regular rhythms, and various tempi she steers with zest through a shifting landscape of moods.
