For this final HALI of the year, we’re bringing together the raw energy of hard sounds from across the spectrum, Schranz, Hard House, Acid Techno, and other forms of groove-driven techno, spanning from the late ’90s to the present day. There was a time when all these different sounds could coexist under the umbrella term “Hard Techno” without borders, without rigid genre divisions, and without the need to separate one sound from another. We simply mixed it all together, seeking out the best and the coolest sounds purely for what they were. That same spirit is what brought this lineup together. The timing just felt right, and everything came together naturally. A strictly defined, single genre approach has its own appeal, but what makes HALI special is its embrace of a wide range of sounds. It’s about getting up close to the DJs and their craft, witnessing the passion and dedication they bring to their records, and experiencing the unique sound of vinyl. thick, aggressive, raw, sometimes rough, yet warm and gentle at the same time.
