𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐎 — 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟑𝟎 From 19 PM till late, BARDO opens its doors. From 22:00 PM till late, 𝐀𝐂𝐈𝐃𝐀 𝐕𝐎𝐂𝐄 The exploration of the timbral possibilities of the voice, from breath to scream, their manipulation, poetic and bodily research, and a deep fascination with the sea lie at the core of Acida Voce, the recent live project by musician Chiara Odorisio. With an academic background in Philosophy and Education Sciences, Odorisio graduated in Jazz Singing from the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome, with a thesis on experimental vocal practices in the New York free jazz scene of the 1960s and ’70s. More recently, she has approached the world of performance art, contributing to research projects by artists including Wissal Houbabi (Imperceptible, 2025/2026, Studio Iuno and MAXXI, Rome), and Ilenia Caleo and Silvia Calderoni (La notte ha la forma di un grido di un lupo, 2026, BASE Milano; Classe, Short Theatre 2026, Rome). For the past two years, she has collaborated with Arci Fanfulla 5/a in Rome. In her live performances, she uses voice samples, classical guitar, biophony from underwater field recordings, spoken word, different languages (Italian, English and dialect), readings and vocal processing.
