ISMOS presents ABSTRACT VOL. I, a Detroit showcase marking the arrival of the label’s first Various Artists compilation on a premier Funktion-One sound system. Built around the idea that no two artists interpret sound, space or experience in exactly the same way, ABSTRACT brings the concept behind the eight-track compilation into a physical setting for one night in Detroit. Curated by Detroit artist and ISMOS founder RN ISMO, the event brings together artists from within and around the label’s community, moving through minimal, deep tech and house while leaving room for each artist’s individual perspective.
