CQTD presents: In Store Session For this ADE edition ConneQtingTheDots heads to Black Gold Amsterdam for an intimate in-store session with two passionate selectors and record diggers. Kid Sublime will be joining us alongside Ruggero of The Playground Records, spinning an all-vinyl selection throughout the afternoon. Expect deep grooves, broken beats, jazz-infused rhythms, soulful cuts and plenty of gems from the crates. The session also marks the release and in-store sale of Kid Sublime’s latest 4-track EP on The Playground Records. A collaborative project bringing together Amsterdam beat innovator Kid Sublime with an impressive cast of musicians — including Stefan Schmid, Joshua Lutz, Han Litz, Saba Okujava and Johnny Biner — the EP moves effortlessly between deep broken beat, jazz, disco-funk and bruk. From infectious electric piano-led grooves and synth-heavy rhythms to breezy flute passages and deeper jazz-fuelled cuts, the four tracks showcase Kid Sublime’s signature fusion of groove, melody and percussion.
