A few months ago, we had the unfortunate coincidence of both Sara Dziri and Maara having to cancel on the very same night. We found solutions, of course, but we were left with one big frustration: we still really wanted to hear them at BLUR. So inviting them both back together was a no-brainer, with a little twist to the original plan. We’re incredibly happy to welcome Canadian artist Maara back, this time in live format. And as you probably know by now, we have a serious soft spot for live sets at BLUR. Right after, we welcome Sansibar to BLUR for the very first time. The young French producer and DJ has been making waves with his distinctive, forward-thinking approach to electronic music, moving freely between deep, psychedelic and highly energetic territories. He’ll take us all the way to 7 AM. Meanwhile, a completely different atmosphere awaits in the Studio, where our dear Lefto Early Bird takes control for the entire night alongside his New York-based friend Marco Weibel. Originally from Singapore, Marco is a DJ, producer and co-founder of Darker Than Wax, a label and collective that has been connecting the dots between soulful house, jazz, broken beat and global club music for more than a decade.
