CLOSER presents THERMAL – MAURER (US Debut) & Dylan Fogarty (US Debut) [5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY]

On October 24, THERMAL celebrates 5 years of getting closer on the dancefloor with a special night of groove driven techno and the US debuts of MAURER and Dylan Fogarty. Berlin-based MAURER is part of a new wave of artists shaping the European techno landscape. Drawing from his background in classical music and percussion, his productions combine powerful percussion, hypnotic grooves, intricate sampling, and melodic layers with a strong dancefloor focus. His releases span BCCO, Transition, VALOR, Laburnūm, Molekül, Groove Revival, and Wangan Club, with appearances at Shifted Festival and Terminal V. Making his US debut, Dublin-based Dylan Fogarty has become a key figure in the city’s techno revival, channeling the raw, loop-driven energy of ’00s techno through elements of house, garage, and dub. His productions are rooted in groove, swing, and funk, with releases on Molekül, Frenzy, and RAW, alongside his acclaimed self-released projects including The Forgotten Loops and D Loops. Support comes from resident JAQ.XS b2b BEEBA and resident S.I.M b2b heelbite316, alongside MAREA. Costumes are welcomed.
