"Born Richard Anthony Wallace in England to Jamaican parents, and grew up in Jamaica, I was immersed in music from a young age. My eldest brother Pat ran the Kingatone Roots sound system, and my early years were spent learningand deejaying with my brother Glen and Dean Ellis (son of reggae legend Alton Ellis) as part of the group “Papa Trio.” Embracing Rastafari in 1995 transformed his musical direction, inspiring conscious, roots-driven reggae influenced by legends such as Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Dennis Brown and Alton Ellis. Since recording his first professional track in 1998, Nu Flowah has performed across the UK, US, The Gambia and France, sharing stages and collaborating with reggae greats including Bob Andy, Big Youth, Mad Professor, Capleton, Luciano and others. With six studio albums released through Kings Highway Records, his music continues to evolve while remaining rooted in spirituality, consciousness and positive messages. His latest album ""Positive Energy""is a high-vibration project, is released on 26th Septembe 2026."
