Thought of as a micro festival, Simulterra brings together live performances and DJ sets across open-air and indoor settings for a night of forward-thinking, cross-genre sound — spanning bass-forward music, baile funk, experimental, punk, live ambient and drum performance. With no overlap between sets, the programme moves between contrasting sounds and energies from early afternoon into late morning. The location itself delivers a raw, DIY energy that Berlin's mainstream club scene has long forgotten — no hype, just a genuine melting pot of creative minds and the underground spirit that made this city legendary. On the line-up: Formella (Femme Bass Mafia) weaves dubstep, halftime and jungle into weighty, physical bass sets, while Jan Loup B2B Katiusha bend bass music into darker, malleable contours of their own. From Manchester to Berlin, Obeka, a Bermuda-born multi-percussionist, channels Caribbean and African polyrhythms into a live drum performance, and mu tate dissolves club music into psychedelic afterglow with his live project life of mu. Elsewhere, SILVASURFER and N3LYSTAR (GRAVE BR) fuse Baile Funk's many strains with Brazilian club energy, and Jakie Garañao brings raw, tribal-tinged experimental electronics from Milano’s underground party scene. LAWN CHAIR tear through with a ferocious, high-intensity punk live set in the middle of the night, ML lends his genre-crossing NTS sensibility to the decks, Rafush bends frequencies into leftist, liberation-driven sound, and Andlsia B2B Mauromrk, from the ONO collective out of Torino, close out the bass spectrum with jungle, footwork and glitched-out club rhythms.
