Fuzz Monkey doesn’t give a shit. We play to get people moving. We play to get the people out of their comfort zones. Garage-psychedelic-gaze rock carries our band into a noisy and upbeat performance that has the audience feeling the beat. You don’t see it to believe it - you feel it to believe it. We like to show the audience something that they haven’t seen since the early 2000s. Based out of Long Island, After April is an alternative rock focused band with hints of indie, punk, and classic rock. Formally known as Razor’s Edge, the band is rooted in hard rock, but has assumed a new era of modern rock influenced by the strokes, Artic Monkeys, Ramones, and the Police. Their power fresh take on rock is formed by he powerful Grunge -esq vocals of van deusen, the guitar acrobatics of granger, the thunderous machine gun drumming of Depinto, the multi instrument virtuosity of Max Lieberman, complete with the voices of van deusen and lieberman creating harmonies reminiscent of Lennon and McCartney. Coming from an upstate diy college music scene, the band has grouped to gather to make their Brooklyn debut, with intentions to piggy back the performance with their first EP.
