Come spend a Sunday afternoon with new music, shared in its rawest, un:mix:ed form. An intimate showcase of independent electronic music with a cultural and experimental edge, featuring DJs and a live production set at Autumn Three. Artists share unreleased music and works in progress, offering a first listen in an intimate setting. It’s a chance to hear tracks before they’re released, meet the people behind the music and hear what they’ve been working on. SKETCH will share Derhaka (Disobedience) and other unreleased productions, drawing on Malay and Javanese sounds and stories. The session also features a live set by Malay poet, voice educator and performance maker Tajiyah Sulwana. Joining the afternoon are Machine Woman, Ting Run Run and Proxi. Expect mellow rhythms, warm bass and hazy electronic sounds to ease you into a Sunday afternoon. Whether you make music, create things or just love listening, everyone’s welcome. Shoes off, grab a tea and settle in. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MACHINE WOMAN is an electronic artist and producer working across experimental club music, techno and abstract sounds. Releases on Ninja Tune, Delsin and DFA Records feature off-kilter rhythms and detailed sound design. Outside of production, Machine Woman runs Sonic Disturbances, a label and monthly radio show on Subtle Radio and MWTV, a series of interviews with artists across electronic music. TING RUN RUN is behind PUDDLE, a rave series centred on queer community and connection, and is also involved with Enjoy Life. A London-based DJ, Ting moves between club sounds, bass and breaks, with a previous appearance on Voices Radio. Known for sets made for sweaty dancefloors, this Sunday offers a more relaxed setting. PROXI is an experimental electronic musician and producer based in North London, drawing on rave, ambient and bass. Productions balance detailed sound design with a playful approach to experimentation. SKETCH is a Singaporean-born, London-based DJ and producer delving into electronic music and Southeast Asian sounds. Derhaka (Disobedience) draws on Malay and Javanese influences, with other unreleased work moving through darker textures, heavy bass and hypnotic rhythms. TAJIYAH SULWANA is a voice educator, researcher and performance maker whose work bridges vocal practice, performance and language. Through her work, she explores the voice as a means of expression and connection, bringing a thoughtful and experimental approach to the way we use and experience our voices.
