A fundraiser for Resonance FM curated by False Locust, with Kenichi Iwasa, BLACK FONDU, Luigi Monteanni and Maggie Nicols. Kenichi Iwasa is a London based improviser and multidisciplinary artist from Japan. Also known for his legendary event Krautrock Karaoke night, he has collaborated with visual artists and musicians such as Beatrice Dillon, Maxwell Sterling and Linder Sterling. BLACK FONDU is London based Accra born artist whose performances veer between dissected electronica, manipulated hip-hop and abstract grime; heated in energy with alien multi-layered patches. Moving between punk, hip-hop and experimental scenes they perform with effuse force. Luigi Monteanni is a PhD candidate in music studies at SOAS (London) and winner of an AHRC CHASE scholarship. He is a researcher studying the relationships between contemporary transnational pop music genres and regional music. Maggie Nicols joined London's legendary Spontaneous Music Ensemble in 1968 as a free improvisation vocalist. She then became active running voice workshops with an involvement in local experimental theatre. 100% of proceeds go directly to Resonance, supporting our work as an independent home for adventurous music, art, ideas and voices rarely heard elsewhere on the radio. The evening also leads into Resonance’s Big Give Christmas Challenge during the first week of December, when supporters can double their donations through match funding. Poster design by @user\_siska
