The Mainliners are bringing the raw energy of classic Southern California punk to El Club Detroit. Raised on DIY punk shows and records spinning at home, the Hollywood, CA four-piece channels the spirit of legendary SoCal acts like TSOL, Descendents, and D.I., while carrying that sound into a new generation. Formed during the creative explosion of a quarantine-era art and punk house in Los Angeles, the band spent a year and a half writing, playing shows, and even switching instruments before locking in the lineup of Cash Mathieu (vocals), Colin Martin (guitar), Adrian Morris (bass), and Jackson Fox (drums). Since 2023, The Mainliners have released a run of singles, an EP, an album, and a live album, establishing both their musical identity and their unmistakable visual style. They’ve taken that sound on the road alongside Enjoy, Gvllow, Civic, and Bad Nerves, earning a reputation for bringing the kind of loud, chaotic energy that punk was built on. In 2024, they played Tyler, The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival in Los Angeles as the festival’s only punk band, reaching an audience far beyond the traditional punk scene.
